Our weekly private LAMDA classes in Acting and Musical Theatre coach students for exams and drama school preparation. Taking place in Guildford and Bognor Regis.

Selected Shine Timers are given the opportunity to compete in a variety of music and dance festivals achieving exceptional results winning 1st places at all levels.
Our private Shine Timers are also invited to perform in our yearly Private Showcase at a professional theatre in Guildford.
Guildford classes are held at our brand new bespoke Shine Time Studios, and Bognor classes are held at art of dance & fitness (Monday – Saturday).

LAMDA Musical Theatre (Singing)
Tutorials are structured to enable students to find their natural singing voice and we encourage them to explore a variety of genres of music through song. We only have one voice and we need to look after it. Therefore, our classes carefully develop technique through warm up and exercise before we proceed to song preparation and acting through song. Examinations can be taken for those students who we feel are ready to undertake musical theatre examinations.
Take a look at our Drama school preparation classes. This class is an excellent choice for many of our students, who are 16 years plus and are looking to gain a place at a Drama School and want to pursue a career in the performance industry. We offer guidance with drama school applications, audition materials and interview techniques throughout these classes.

I had never done any acting until I started LAMDA lessons with Laura when I was 7. I found memorising the speeches really hard at first but Laura had a way of helping me believe in myself and give it a good go. So despite having dyslexia, I’ve finished the LAMDA solo acting exams and am taking the musical theatre and Shakespeare exams and am considering acting as a profession!
